Wine Village Returns to Baltimore This Week
The Best Things to Do in Baltimore This Weekend...

Hey Baltimore—
One of my favorite signs that spring has officially arrived in Baltimore? Wine Village returning to the Inner Harbor. Starting today, West Shore Park turns into a cozy European-style wine garden filled with wine, local food vendors, live music, and plenty of outdoor seating right along the waterfront.
🏠 For Sale: A rare 4-bed, 2-bath Baltimore homestead at 202 S Athol Ave — nearly 2,000 sq ft tucked onto 1.17 private, tree-lined acres with original hardwoods, a wood-burning fireplace, sunroom, koi pond, and room for your backyard chicken era. Priced at $399,000.
🍹 Menu Item: Gunther & Co.’s spring cocktail mixes cucumber-infused mezcal with passion fruit, lychee, and lime for something bright, refreshing, and just smoky enough to make your usual drink jealous.
🎟️ Hot Ticket: Brew at the Zoo returns to The Maryland Zoo on May 23rd & 24th — unlimited samples of 80+ beers, wines, ciders, and seltzers, plus live bands, food vendors, trivia, party games, and animal encounters.
Here’s what we’ve got this weekend:
The Baltimore Wine Village Returns…

Date Spot Of The Week
Underground Pizza Co (Inner Harbor)
📍 30 Market Pl, Baltimore
This Downtown Baltimore spot serves Detroit-style pies — thick, crispy-edged, sauce-on-top beauties that feel casual enough for a low-pressure night out, but good enough to make it feel like a plan.
What to order: Start with the Roni Boi if pepperoni is your love language — it comes loaded with char-and-cup pepperoni, mozzarella, signature red sauce, and grated parmesan. If you want something a little different, go for The Pesto or The SPO with spicy Italian sausage, peppers, onions, mozzarella, red sauce, and parmesan. Pro move: order a half pan if you’re keeping it cute, full pan if the date is going well.
The vibe: Casual, fun, downtown, and built for sharing. It’s the kind of date spot where nobody has to overthink the menu, but everybody leaves talking about the pizza.
Thanks for reading Eating Baltimore today. Share it with someone who will visit the Wine Village multiple times.
Have a great weekend!
