Pet Of The Week
Have a furry, feathered, or scaly friend you’re proud of? Send a photo and a few fun facts, and we might feature them in an upcoming issue. It’s a fun way to share smiles with the community and discover local pet resources along the way.
This week’s reader submission: Aura
“This is Aura, she moved to Federal Hill last summer and has loved every minute since! She’s happiest on long sniff walks or indulging in a pup scoop from the window at Bmore Licks.”

Aura, always ready for a treat!
P.S. I’m also looking to partner with a local pet business to help bring this section to life—if that’s you (or someone you know), shoot me an email here.
Real Estate Corner: Brought to You By Susan Carroll, eXp Realty
Each week we’ll showcase a few standout listings from around the Baltimore area—sometimes it’s a great starter home, sometimes a smart investment, and sometimes just one we can all daydream about.
If any of these spark your interest, or you’re curious about the market in general, our partner Susan Carroll is here to help with buying, selling, or answering your real estate questions.
Living Near the Park: Why Patterson Park Homes Still Deliver Baltimore’s Best Lifestyle Value
For homebuyers looking to balance city energy with outdoor serenity, homes surrounding the park continue to offer one of the best values in Baltimore. Located east of downtown the Patterson Park area blends history, culture, and affordability in a way few neighborhoods can.
The classic red brick front Baltimore rowhome, many beautifully renovated, offer character that new builds can’t replicate. Add in walkable access to the park, and it’s easy to see why these homes remain in demand.
Patterson Park stands out as a Baltimore’s sweet spot! 37 Belnord Ave Baltimore Open this Saturday
Date Spot Of The Week
Johny Rad’s Pizzeria Tavern (Fells Point)
📍 2108 Eastern Ave, Baltimore, MD 21231
This week we’re heading to Johnny Rad’s Pizzeria Tavern — a neighborhood staple that nails the sweet spot between dive-bar comfort and elevated pizza joint. It’s the kind of date spot that feels effortless: great pies, local beer, a little edge, and a lot of personality.
Split a Pepe Martinez, their fan-favorite pizza loaded with “cup & char” pepperoni and fresh mozzarella, or go for the Trainwreck, a veggie-packed pie that even meat lovers rave about. If you’re feeling indulgent, the Salted Caramel Bread Pudding (vegan, somehow) and a cold craft beer are a perfect combo.
The back room Skee-Ball lanes and vintage vibe make it an easy spot to linger — whether it’s a first date or a low-key night out with someone who appreciates good food and no pretense.
