The Best Things to Do in Baltimore This Weekend...

Hey Baltimore—
Welcome to the 139 new subscribers who joined since last week’s edition. Happy to have you in our (growing) community!
Hope you enjoyed your Labor Day Weekend and are ready for all things fall…too early?? Not for my wife. You would have thought she worked for HGTV with how fast the house went from summer to fall theme. Anyways.
So much for a quiet weekend post Labor Day. We’ve got fall festivals, pizza & beer festivals, flea markets and more! Plus, football is back this week and the Ravens are making M&T Bank one of the NFL’s most affordable stadiums…
Scroll on, make plans, and as always — eat well, Charm City.
P.S. Some of you may remember I was working on a restaurant punch card exclusively for Eating Baltimore readers… well, it’s almost ready. It’s evolved into a Beer Passport around the city—6 local spots, and a free beer waiting at each one.
If this sounds like something you’d be into, let me know below—I’m trying to gauge interest. I’ll only be doing a limited run of these, so keep an eye out next week if you want in.
Would you trade $20 for 6 free beers (~$48-50 value) around the Baltimore area? |
Together With… Our Friends at Bayside Asphalt
🏆 Voted Baltimore’s #1 for Driveways
Cracked? Faded? Falling apart? Your driveway doesn’t have to drag down your curb appeal. Bayside Asphalt just won Best of Baltimore because they do it right—sealcoating, patching, and full paving that actually lasts.
I can personally vouch for the award—Anthony & his team at Bayside paved my driveway two years back, and it’s held up beautifully. Smooth, solid, and still turning heads in the neighborhood.
Here’s why they stand out:
Award-winning quality – recognized as Baltimore’s best paver & sealcoater
Lasting results – paving and sealcoating that actually protect through hot summers and icy winters
Straightforward service – no hidden fees, no “we’ll get back to you in 3 weeks,” just clear pricing and fast scheduling
Don’t wait until cracks turn into a full repave. Call (443)-699-5179 today and lock in your free estimate while the weather’s still on your side.

Date Spot Of The Week
CuVino (Timonium)
📍31 E Padonia Rd, Lutherville-Timonium, MD 21093
We’re taking it to the north county this week…
CuVino isn’t about flash—it’s about authenticity. Tucked into Timonium, this trattoria and wine bar nails the balance between cozy neighborhood charm and seriously good Italian cooking. Kick things off with small plates that overdeliver—grilled calamari with olive oil and capers, bruschetta topped with creamy ricotta, or crisp potato croquettes filled with prosciutto and mozzarella.
For mains, you can’t go wrong with a classic like veal saltimbocca or eggplant parm, but the autunno rigatoni with sausage, mushrooms, and prosecco sauce is a standout. And yes, their pizzas—whether thin-crust or Sicilian—are worth making the trip alone.
Pair it with one of their $25 Italian wines from the wall-to-wall racks, or let the staff steer you toward something unexpected. It’s relaxed, flavorful, and built for conversation—the kind of place where the wine flows, the plates satisfy, and the night lingers just right.
