Camden Yards Upgrades

The Best Things to Do in Baltimore This Weekend...

In partnership with

Hey Baltimore—

I went to Opening Day yesterday and let me tell you, the new scoreboard at Camden Yards is massive. And the other updates they’ve made to the place are nice… I personally enjoyed:

  • The extra space in the lower level concourse so you’re not in a constant traffic jam or bumping into people.

  • The “Just Walk Out” concession stands where you scna your payment method, grab what you want and walk out.

I guess I really just hate lines. Anyways.

🏠 For Sale: A 4-bed, 3.5-bath luxury rowhouse in Canton — 4,136 sq ft across multiple levels, a stunning chef's kitchen, private in-home elevator, a massive full-footprint rooftop deck with sweeping city views, and a rare attached two-car garage. Priced at $1,320,000.

🍹 Menu Item: The $12 Brain Wave at Root City Kava — kava extract shaken with mint, lime, guava, and pineapple. Bright, tropical, and a little out of the ordinary.

🎟️ Hot Ticket: The Maryland Lavender Festival returns to Star Bright Farm in White Hall on June 13th & 14th — live music, local food, beer & wine, tractor rides, farm animals, and fresh lavender bunches for sale.

Here’s what we’ve got this weekend:

  • Music Under the Dome: The Rolling Stones…

  • Beer, Bourbon & BBQ Festival…

  • And Profs & Pints Baltimore: The Science of Making Friends…

Scroll on, make plans, and eat well, Charm City.

TOGETHER WITH THE BOUQS CO.

The $66 Billion Opportunity in Weddings

Fact: People will spend for love.

Americans spent $66 billion on weddings last year. And, as always, flowers were a non-negotiable part of that spend. This highlights a unique market opportunity for The Bouqs Co. right now.

Famous for cutting the time it takes flowers to travel farm-to-door by 3x, The Bouqs Co. is already one of the country’s largest floral subscription services. But their latest expansion to 70+ brick-and-mortar stores could unlock more high-margin events, like weddings.

They already have 100% YoY growth in counties where stores have opened, with more than $1.2m in revenue per store.

You can join this chapter as they capture more of the $100b global floral market. Become an early shareholder in The Bouqs Co.

Pet Of The Week

Have a furry, feathered, or scaly friend you’re proud of? Send a photo and a few fun facts, and we might feature them in an upcoming issue. It’s a fun way to share smiles with the community and discover local pet resources along the way.

This week’s reader submission is: Parker

“This is Parker, he just celebrated his 6th gotcha day! We adopted him and later found out he is from "Parkersburg" West Virginia. He loves to tear up all of his toys, eat ice cubes, and give hugs. He always has a huge smile on his face.”

Parker, from Parkersburg!

Date Spot Of The Week

Petit Louis Bistro (Roland Park)

📍 Roland Park | 4800 Roland Ave, Baltimore

If your ideal date night involves cozy lighting, a little French flair, and conversation that lingers over a second glass of wine — Petit Louis Bistro has been delivering that for years, and it hasn't lost a step.

This Roland Park gem hits all the right notes: intimate without being stuffy, refined without being pretentious. The kind of place where you actually slow down and enjoy the meal.

What to order: Start with the Escargots de Bourgogne (snails in fresh herb butter and garlic — yes, order them) or the Foie Gras Terrine if you're feeling indulgent. For mains, the Steak Frites is a classic for a reason — or go for the Duck Breast with grilled apples and a red wine cider reduction if you want to impress yourself. Cap the night with crème brûlée. Always.

The vibe: Warm, unhurried, a little romantic without trying too hard. The kind of dinner that makes a Tuesday feel like a special occasion.

Thanks for reading Eating Baltimore today. Share it with someone who never misses the Beer, Bourbon & BBQ Festival.

Have a great weekend!
