The Baltimore Floatilla Returns
The Best Things to Do in Baltimore This Weekend...

Hey Baltimore—
After last year’s weather-induced cancellation, the Baltimore Floatilla is bringing disco back this Saturday with a 5-mile roundtrip paddle from Canton Waterfront Park to the Inner Harbor. Not a bad day on the water supporting the Waterfront Partnership’s Healthy Harbor Initiative.
🏠 For Sale — A 4-bed, 4-bath stone, corner lot in Homeland with 3,562 sq ft, a remodeled kitchen with Amish-made custom cabinets, a sunroom with wet bar, and a two-tiered patio made for summer hosting. Priced at $995,000.
(Note: If this one has you suddenly “just browsing,” our real estate guru Susan Carroll can help with buying, selling, or decoding the market without making your head spin. Click here to connect with Susan and learn more.)
🍹 Menu Item — The $19 Charm City Sunrise from Fat Tuesday — Patrón, orange juice, grenadine, and a dunked Red Bull. Fat Tuesday is coming soon to the former Greene Turtle space in Fells Point, so prepare accordingly.
🎟️ Hot Ticket — The 250th All-American Bash takes over the B&O Railroad Museum on July 4th with American Freedom Train cab access, live music from Baltimore Honky Tonk and the Talbot Mayo Band, free two-step lessons, lawn games, crafts, BBQ, and local drinks.

This week’s reader submission is: Lemon & Rafiki
“This is Lemon and Rafiki. Just like with most cat pairs, one is a beautiful idiot (Lemon) and the other is a real scoundrel (Rafiki). They love playing in and with boxes, getting scritchies, going from cutely cleaning each other to fighting, and working together to antagonize the dog.”

Lemon & Rafiki, a dynamic duo!
Date Spot Of The Week
Dylan’s Oyster Cellar (Hampden)
📍 Dylan’s Oyster Cellar, 3601 Chestnut Avenue, Baltimore
Dylan’s Oyster Cellar is a cozy Hampden classic for the kind of date night that doesn’t need white tablecloths to feel special. It’s oysters, cocktails, a lively little room, and just enough neighborhood charm to make you wonder why you don’t do this more often.
What to order: Start with a half dozen oysters from the rotating raw bar, or go full Baltimore with a Coddie served with saltines and mustard sauce. The Roasted Oysters with hot sauce compound butter, garlic, breadcrumbs, and lemon are a smart move if one of you is still “oyster curious.” For dinner, the Butterflied Rainbow Trout with brown butter, parsley, espelette, and lemon is the safe bet — though the Whole Black Bass or the Cheeseburger & Fries are both very respectable detours. Save room for the Basque Cheesecake if it’s on the menu.
The vibe: Rustic, intimate, and happily unpretentious — like a European bistro wandered into an East Coast seafood shack and decided to stay in Hampden.
